BLUEBERRY SEASON was great this year thanks to cold weather stimulating berry production! Last week's steady rain split lots of berries which fell to the ground to make birds happy. BLUEBERRY SEASON IS NOW OVER for this year. Next crop will be muscadine grapes and pears. We have a large muscadine crop this year if we can keep deer and coyotes from taking too many. Pear trees are not too full but should be plenty. Season for both is usually mid August and September. Check this site or call about second week in August. 409-753-2247 Pecan production looks great so far!!! If too much rain, worms, bugs, hurricanes, crows, and squirrels don't interfere we should have a good crop in November.
