Blueberries  |
We will NOT have a blueberry season this year. We had extensive
damage in both hurricanes, and Bill had a stroke in January. He is
definitely on the mend, but will take some time. This leaves much clean
up, clearing fallen trees, repairing irrigation line, pruning, spraying,
fertilizing, mowing, and general TLC that didn't get done, making the
orchard not suitable for the public.
We also have several mayhaw trees down, so will not do mayhaws this year
either. Check this site in August for pears and muscadines. We also
lost several pear trees and muscadine vines, so not sure yet how these
will produce. The satsumas look fine for a season in October and November.
